My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Happy Spring, my name is Sally, and I came from the Texas-Mexican Border with some other fur friends. We are so happy to be here at Big Dog Ranch. I am a loveable lab mix almost 2 yrs old. Maybe I can spend my 2nd Bday with you. I am told I am very pretty too. I walk well on the leash and enjoy my car rides. I have some nice people here at the Ranch who take me for what they call "Doggy Day Out" and even treat me to pup cups which is so much fun. I am what is called a "backseat" driver. I am told I am a great companion to have along and behave so well in public. I am very friendly with humans, and I also like my bunkmates One thing I can not live with though... "THOSE CATS": I may be better with older kids or just adults too. I am looking forward to my new person and a new home in the new year. Come and visit me, you will want to keep me! Adopt ME in 2023!

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
