Psst, over here. I'm Banjo, a shy girl looking for a permanent address. You see, I was homeless and living on the streets where everything was scary. WAAL took me in and gave me a place to stay and a chance to just be a dog. I take a while to warm up to people but once I do, I'm yours! I'll need a human that brings patience and calmness to my world. Foster mom says I am smart, athletic and get along with both cats and dogs. I've learned a lot about being a canine from the resident dogs; I just love to play with them. I'm a quick learner, who loves to please you and cuddle next to you. The Wichita Animal Action League, or WAAL, is an all-volunteer, licensed rescue and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created in November 2013 to advocate for all abused, neglected and abandoned animals in the Wichita, Kansas area. WAAL is an action oriented group dedicated to rescuing animals in crisis.
