My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlotte was rescue with her siblings when they were about 9 dayd old.  Charlotte is a loner she likes to look at the window, plays by herself and sometimes with other cats.
Charlotte will come sit next to me when she's hungry and rolls around to get my attention.  Charlotte is a little more shy than her siblings, but once she knows you she is a silly girl.  She is looking for a furever home.

Charlotte is spayed, vaccinated, deworm, deflea will get her microchipped prior to adoption.

Charlotte and Wilbur are siblings found in an unsafe area, who are looking for loving homes. Charlotte is a very curious girl, and she loves to play with her brother and sister. Charlotte is friendly and loves to play with string toys and loves catnip. Charlotte would do well with other cats, and can be adopted alone or with her siblings. Wilbur loves to run and play with his sisters, and he is very affectionate. He has a unique look! He also loves other cats, including Charlotte and Fern. Fern is full of life. She loves to eat and play, and is a very curious kitten. When she's had enough play, she will come to sit next to her favorite humans and relax. She always wants to be with the older cats, and doesn't shy away from them. Fern is an energetic, playful, sweet girl who will make an entertaining friend for someone.

Charlotte is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, please fill out an application at www.thedancingcat.org/adopt.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
