Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MAX - For "MAXimum Energy" - who greets you by running up to you, and rubbing against your legs, your hands, and running Figure-8s around you, happy to see you! He also loves being held. He purrs and purrs all the while. DEFINITELY a people-pleaser.
It is hard to get a picture of him, because he is so active, unless you want your feet and hands in the picture, too. Forget the Energizer Bunny - Max is real!
He came to us neutered and ear-tipped, but had been on the waterfront at Seabrook as a community cat, post-pandemic. He has also received all 3 vaccines (Rabies, FVRCP and FeLV), flea and worm prevention, though tests FIV+. He is completely comfortable around other cats, so appears to have been a house cat with others before.
PEOPLE-CHICKEN and PEOPLE-TUNA are his favorite foods - but also eats cat kibble and canned food. A rotisserie chicken niblet between rubbing on us was his ticket to the road to "domestic tranquility" again. He will readily adapt to an indoor home environment, probably best as a solo cat now so he can get ALL the love and affection you have to offer him, and let his affection "rub off" (pun intended) on YOU! - To fill out our brief, no-obligation application, go to www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PALC/Cat
