Meet Velo - This little guy is nothing but sugary sweetness! His foster mom says he is super smart and hasn't had any inside potty accidents, already learned "sit," and looovvves to sleep curled up under a blanket. He's working hard at crate & leash training and is doing great! Velo is a major lap dog and loves to give his people kisses. If you're interested in meeting him, please give the shelter a call to set up a meet and greet.

If the pet is already spayed/neutered, and we're not waiting on a meet & greet or medical results to come back, the pet can go home TODAY!

Additional adoption info

VHS Adoption hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 12:00-6:00 pm Central Standard Time.

Our adoption fees are as follows:

Cats & kittens: $100
Dogs older than 6 months: $200
Puppies under 6 months: $250
Rabbits: $50

Dog and cat adoption fees include the animal's spay or neuter, nationally-registered microchip, and age-appropriate vaccinations.
