My name is Rocky (adoption pending)!

Rocky originally came to the shelter in Jan., 2021, after he was found abandoned in a trailer. He was adopted soon after and enjoyed his home for 3 years. Sadly his owner passed away recently and Rocky is now back at our shelter. He is, of course, a little confused right now but is very nice. He has been fully vetted and his fee is $125.

Rocky is looking for a somewhat quiet and calm home. He has done well with older kids. He's accustomed to a home in which he won't be left alone for long hours and he truly enjoys being with his people. He enjoys going for little walks and is also content to hang out and cuddle. He did live with a cat with no issues. We think he would do fine with another smaller, well mannered dog.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.
