Dogs? I might be able to make friends with a dog that can give me some space while we get to know each other. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet to see how we get along!
Cats? I`m a little too interested in kitties and should go to a cat free home.
Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kids 10+. Please bring any kiddos in the home to meet.
Anything else you`d like us to know, Mitski? I am super sweet once I have a chance to relax and get to know you! I can`t wait to be your adventure buddy for life!
I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.
It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption.
My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!

Directions from east or west: From the east, take the Beltline or surface streets to Barger Rd, or West 11th, and head west to Greenhill Rd. Turn left on Greenhill Rd (from Barger) or right from West 11th; we're approximately a mile down the road. From the west, take Hwy. 126 to Greenhill Rd., turn left at Greenhill Rd.

Greenhill Humane Society has been caring for animals in Lane County since 1944. We operate the only animal shelter within the Eugene/Springfield area. Our programs include animal adoptions; reuniting lost animals with their families; disaster response; crisis care boarding in situations of domestic violence, medical emergencies, and other crisis situations; spay/neuter for free roaming, un-owned community cats; a pet pantry; on-site volunteer opportunities; foster care and humane education.
Last year, we helped reunite or find new loving homes for 2,826 animals. In addition, we provided 469 cat spay/neuter surgeries to assist cat caregivers in reducing feral cat over-population.
Greenhill is a private non-profit and relies on donations for a majority of its budget. The generosity of our local community enables us to provide a high level of care to lost, abandoned, and neglected animals while at the same time helping pet owners in need.
