My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Terra is a female vizsla lab mix around 2 years old. She is spayed, current on age appropriate vaccines & microchipped. She weighs around 40lbs.

Terra is a cuddle bug who enjoys the company of her humans. She gets along with other dogs & all sized humans. She will need to go to a cat-free home. She knows how to use a dog door, is crate trained & mostly housebroken. She will need continued leash/harness training. She is confident, playful & motivated.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
