My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Monroe, a striking black and white pup with a heart as big as his soulful eyes.

Monroe's journey began with a heart-wrenching start, as he and his five siblings were callously dumped in a box in the middle of a bustling road in Bexar County.

While all his siblings have found loving homes, Monroe still waits for his chance to find his own place in the world, wondering why he's the only boy left behind.

Despite his uncertain beginnings, Monroe's spirit remains resilient and full of hope. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with both dogs and people alike. Playtime in the exercise yard brings out his infectious joy, his tail wagging with enthusiasm as he revels in the simple pleasures of companionship and fun.

With his boundless energy and affectionate nature, Monroe dreams of finding a young family or couple who can match his zest for life. He longs for a home where he'll be cherished and included in all the adventures life has to offer.

Whether it's playing fetch in the yard or snuggling up for a cozy movie night, Monroe's love knows no bounds.

Born around December 14, 2022, Monroe is a lively young pup weighing approximately 19.2 pounds, the perfect size for cuddles and companionship. His adoption fee is $300, a small price to pay for the endless love and joy he promises to bring into your life.

If you're ready to welcome Monroe into your heart and home, don't hesitate to apply to adopt him today. Together, you'll embark on a journey filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

Apply for Monroe now at www.adoggie4you.org and make his dreams of a forever family come true.  His adoption fee is $300.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested

All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella, heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.

Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.

Our dogs are posted on our website. Generally they live at our facility located on a beautiful 100 acre ranch in Texas. We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dog. We pride ourselves in providing a complete and honest evaluation of each dog to ensure the best possible placement for both the dog and the adopter. We welcome your visit to our facility in Texas.
