Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tessa is a 5 year old female spayed doberman. She is current on vaccines including rabies & microchipped. She weighs 70lbs.

Tessa is a velcro dog & loves to spend time with her people. She gets along with other dogs & does engage with play time. She loves toys, especially long-lasting chew toys. She is crate & potty trained. She loves to sleep on a big dog bed. She enjoys going for walks but needs practice on not pulling. She is learning that car rides are safe.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
