My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Joelle, the lively and intelligent 6 month old Border Collie! Calling all Border Collie enthusiasts who thrive on daily exercise and training-Joelle is the perfect match for you! This spunky girl is eager to learn and would be a blast to teach a variety of tricks. If you're into dog sports like agility, Joelle would be thrilled to join in on the fun!

Joelle does have some reactivity to moving objects, such as cars, passersby, and dogs behind fences. However, with a committed owner who can provide regular social exposure and training, these behaviors can be overcome. In return, Joelle will become your most loyal companion, trusting you implicitly and following your lead forever. If you're passionate about working with dogs, Joelle is ready to be your perfect match!

We have adoption events each Saturday at Wet Noses Dry Paws in Tacoma (411 Fawcett Ave Tacoma) from 2-4. Not all dogs listed will be attending but it is a great time to come and socialize with them in a play setting.

More about this rescue

501c3 non-profit l est 2019 l

We have been fostering dogs since early 2019 through various rescues.

What better way to showcase them then in a playful, happy, loving environment with other loving dogs in our community.

Recently we have started changing things as we are looking for our pups to go into foster homes/foster to adopt.

We typically fly dogs in from over capacity shelters in Texas, drive puppers over from Yakima, and still have an amazing relationship with a partnering rescue in Mexico.
