Give a high-five to Cleveland, an 8-month old, 28-pound Beagle/Cattle Dog mix who is happy, housebroken, knows a few commands, and has a tail that never stops wagging!
Once you get over Cleveland’s glowing good looks, the next thing you’ll notice is how personable she is. Cuddly, playful, silly, and sweet, Cleveland embraces all the qualities you’d expect in an exceptional little pupper. She loves her toys, she loves exploring outside, she loves car rides, she loves cuddles, and she loves kisses. She knows how to love, and she loves to have fun!
Typical for a pup of such tender age, Cleveland might grab a shoe or a water bottle, but she responds to the word no and she’s a fast learner. She is an overall pretty chill girl, who will play for a while, then rest for a while longer. Curious and friendly, Cleveland is new to leash walking and enjoys getting her daily dose of fresh air and meeting new people along the way.
Cleveland is easy to handle and no area is off limits. You can rub her belly, touch her toes, or face, or her tail, and she welcomes it all. When it comes to bath time, brushing her fur, and brushing her teeth, she’ll let you do that too. Bring it in! If Cleveland could speak, she’d say I’m all yours!
Cleveland is terrific with adults, kids, and other dogs. She would do well in any dog-loving home where she will be showered with love and appreciated for her supreme greatness!

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 2,600 dogs and cats since 2015.
PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
