My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our sweet boy Chief. Chief came to us with a littermate after being dumped in front of our house. From night one, we have adored this boy and how much life he has brought into our home.

Although we do not know what kind of past Chief had to endure, he is resilient and shows just how much he deserves to find his furever home. We will be sad to see him go, but we know the perfect home is looking for him specifically. Chief will more than likely whine for the first period that he is transitioning. He will need some patience with separation anxiety training due to being abandoned and having a fear of being left behind.

Chief is leash, potty, and kennel trained. We have been working on training commands and so far he has conquered sit, stay, and we are working on laying down. Chief is extremely friendly and loyal. He bonds very quickly and will not leave your side once he knows you are his protector. He is high energy and loves playtime, but fetch is not his thing. He will be the best adventure buddy if you are someone who enjoys traveling with your dogs.

Chief would thrive most in a home with either other dogs or children willing to play with him. He is a typical puppy who can get bored easily and become a little rambunctious. We cannot wait until the right person/family comes along to give our boy the best life possible.
