Who doesn't enjoy Spaghetti? It's simple, easy, and a staple for a reason, all of which are exactly why she makes the perfect companion to add to your menu! Spaghetti was found as stray a few months and was cared for on that caretaker's porch until PAWS was able to take her in. A friendly and mellow type, Spaghetti loves being around people and soaking up plenty of cheek scritches as payment for your eventual cuddles (she loves sleeping near her people, too)! So, seeing as she bring a sweeter taste to the marinara of life, if you're a fan of those spicy meataballs you'll need to find that princess in another castle.
Spaghetti was brought into PAWS originally back in March, where she was treated for a kitty cold and an oral ulcer. She ended up also testing positive for FeLV during those exams, so she would need to be the only cat in her next home while also getting some additional testing done in the future. She reported would lose her balance from time to time, but never too badly and she hasn't shown any signs of a more advanced neurological disease.
**Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that is specific to cats that attacks and weakens a cat’s immune system. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives—with a shorter life expectancy than cats without FeLV. In the past, cats with FeLV in shelters were euthanized as soon as they were diagnosed. PAWS takes a different stance: we enable FeLV+ cats to live out their lives in loving homes. For more information feel free to check out the FeLV FAQs we have available on our website!**
