MEET  FAWN !!

Fawn was lucky enough to spend a full course in professional Board and Train and now she is SOOOO well trained!! CHECK OUT HER VIDEOS!!

She is a great hiking buddy and can live in an apartment with an active owner OR a house with a yard to run (she likes to do Zoomies outside!). Fawn is housebroken and kennel trained,

Fawn thrives on structure, and is good with direction...She wants to please everyone!

She knows all of her obedience!  Fawn has had 4 weeks of Board and Train and her Adopter will get 4 free lessons so they know what Fawn knows! This girl can Sit, Lay down/(Flop), Stay (as long as you want her to), Come, Heel. She's already leash trained, and does a perfect "Heel" on your left side. She's a great co-pilot and is an excellent car rider! She knows it all!

She's a very well behaved girl-- but unfortunately gets a bit too overstimulated with other dogs and cats, so she'll need to be the only animal in the home. She'll also do best with older kids (10-12+).

Zoomies are fun, but Fetch is also one of her favorite games! Fawn loves her toys and is good at being aloof and independent, playing by herself. She's a super sweet, affectionate girl and would love to be a Lap dog if you let her!

Fawn does need a secure yard, with a regular block wall fence, and as she likes to watch the world go by at the front door, will need an adopter who knows how to be diligent in checking doors before going in/out and giving stay commands, so she does not bolt out the door.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.

Go meet their pets

We attend multiple adoption events throughout the valley during Spring and Fall.
If you are interested in a specific pet, please complete our adoption application found on our website and we can then coordinate a meet and greet.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
