Dahlia is a 3 year old, 40 lb Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) mix. Foster mom says that Dahlia is absolutely perfect! She is such a well behaved dog and easy going. She is very shy at first and will need time to decompress in a new setting, but after a few days she will start to show her easy going personality. She LOVES people and will follow you wherever you go. Dahlia has the perfect temperament for kids, even littles. She is happy sleeping on the floor next to your bed at night. She also gets along with the dogs and cat that are in her current foster home. She is fully potty trained and can be trusted to roam the house if her people have to leave for a few hours. She loves to go on walks and does great on the leash, but be careful when introducing her to other dogs while on leash, as she does get anxious.. Other than that, she is guaranteed to be a great family dog as she is just full of love! If you would like to meet Dahlia, please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
