Are those ears NOT the cutest??? Introducing Fanta, a delightfully chEARful, 1-year old, 14-pound Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who looks like she’s ready to take flight at any given moment!
Affectionate and cuddly, Fanta loves being pet so much, her eyes will slowly close, as if she’s in sheer ecstasy. She thrives on human contact and is very trusting and friendly toward humans, dogs, and even cats too. She has been discovering the art of play, and enjoys toys, playing with other dogs, and frolicking outdoors.
Fanta is new to leash walking, going potty outside, and being in crowds. But being the sweet and smart girl she is, Fanta is making progress on all fronts. With a little time and patience, this amazing creature will be fully adjusted to the life was always meant to have. Being the perfect travel size, Fanta loves being in a sling pouch while out and about, as it probably makes her feel super secure and cozy.
Receptive to commands and instruction, Fanta responds to the words sit, stay, no, and off. She’ll go into her crate whenever asked to do so, and is always eager to please her beloved humans with good behavior. She’s like a baby yearning to be loved and snuggled. She will fall asleep at your feet, or better yet, in your arms. It’s hard to resist her charm…not to mention that adorable face!

PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
