Rio has been at his foster home for 14 months. He will be 3 in July and weighs 75 pounds. Rio has seen a lot of other dogs come and go and just wants to find a home of his own. We know he is having a hard time finding a home because he wants to be the only dog. Rio isn’t vicious and doesn’t want to harm another dog. He just wants all the attention and gets jealous. Rio adores people and has a lot of love to give. He just needs someone to believe in him like we do. Rio needs a physically fenced yard to run and play.
Rio is starting to lose hope. We are trying to give him some emotional support and encouragement every day. We tell him he is a beautiful boy. We tell him he is loveable and cuddly. We tell him he deserves a home. We tell him someone will love him as much as we do. We tell him he is the best boy. We tell him he will get a home this year.

We require and adoption application that involves reference checks and vet checks. We require a home visit and an adoption contract. Our adoption fee is $200 for most dogs. Prior to adoption all of our dogs have all the vaccinations appropriate for their age, are spay/neutered if over 4 months old, microchipped and heartworm checked if over 12 months of age.

We are an all foster based organization to promote the general well-being of all breeds of dogs. We take in all breeds and ages of dogs, provide them healthcare and training and adopt them to screened applicants that will be their forever homes. We also promote training and education about dogs.
