My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Helix is a rotund boy that came to use with his mama, Kitty, and Pie when their pawrents passed away.

Helix is a reserved gentleman that takes some time to warm up to new surroundings. He's only known one home in his life and understandably is a little off kilter with the changes life has brought.

However, when he is feeling brave, he loves to get his head rubbed. Helix is a big boy and sports a gorgeous black coat with beautiful gold eyes.

Helix is looking for a patient home that will give him time to settle in and explore on his own time while he builds his courage. He would also do best in a quiet home or one with a room he can run too when home activities get to be overwhelming.

Apply today if you think Helix could make himself at home with you, put in an application.

More about this rescue

Paws is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to become a vital part of the community by managing an animal rescue and shelter that is committed to saving abandoned and homeless animals. We operate as a no-kill shelter through 100% volunteer-based support.

Through our shelter, volunteers and a network of foster-based homes and support organizations, animals will receive vetting, training, and socialization to prepare them for adoption by a loving, caring family.
