My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Did you know "Amora" means love in Latin?

And that's exactly why we named this girl Amora. Rescuers were alerted to her and her sister after they were dumped in a neighborhood, and one was found with a large open gash on its side. Her sister, Venus was brought to foster while Amora was rushed to the ER for treatment for the wound. Thankfully, she recovered very quickly and was finally able to be a dog again.

Just like her name suggests. She likes to give love just as much as she likes to receive it. She loves to play with toys and run through fields, but will be just as happy. Cuddling up with you on the couch to watch a movie. She is CAT, DOG, AND KID FRIENDLY!! She is 1.5 years old and weighs about 38 lbs.

Submit Application

Submit foster application if you only wish to foster, and an adoption application if you wish to adopt or foster with the intent of adoption

Meet the Pet

After your app is submitted, we will reach out to have a conversation and schedule a time for you to meet the pet

3.
Approve Application

If you decide to move forward after the meet and greet we will officially approve your application

4.
Take the Pet Home

After your app is approved, we will complete foster or adoption paperwork and you will take the pet home

Additional adoption info

We offer foster-to-adopt period of 2 weeks before finalizing the adoption to ensure that the animal is the right fit for you.
