Hi, my name is Tequila, and I am a pretty female MinPin/Chihuahua mix, 10 months old, 11 lbs, and I was dumped in Mission Texas along with my 3 sisters and our mama. It’s a hard life on the streets, but we had no choice and thankfully we managed to all stay together and stay safe until a local dog rescue picked us up. We were eventually turned over to 4 Little Paws Rescue, all of us now spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, we are ready for our next adventure… moving to Connecticut to find forever homes!
Not only do we all look alike, but we behave alike too. We are a friendly and happy group of girls who love people young and old and we get along great with other small dogs (big dogs look scary). We enjoy playtime, wrestling, and tackling each other like a group of football players, but we sure do have fun. I don't think we have ever had doggy toys, but they look interesting especially the ones that squeak. We all go bonkers for doggy treats, and we are all affectionate and snuggly. Good luck choosing between us, LOL!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.

We specialize in saving small to medium breed types and re-homing in the North East where there is less unwanted dog overflow and a high volume of qualified adopters.
