Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, I'm Willow! I'm an adult dog with a heart full of love and a spirit that's as gentle as a summer breeze. My friends say I'm sweet, friendly, and a bit goofy, but I just think I'm being me. I'm smart too, I've learned lots of commands and tricks, and I'm always eager to learn more. I'm mellow, I love a good snooze in a sunny spot, but I'm always up for a game or a walk. I'm loyal, I promise to be your best friend and keep your secrets safe. Adopting me means gaining a loyal companion who'll bring joy and laughter to your life. I can't wait to meet you!

More about this shelter
Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
