My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Camo!

Hey you guys! My name is Camo, but sometimes my foster Mom playfully calls me ‘Camouflage' or ‘Camelot'. I am a total charmer with a sweet and bubbly personality.
I am very playful and love being outdoors with my siblings. I love to run and jump in and out of the bushes, plants, and monkey grass in our large, fenced-in yard.
I am always in a good mood and I get so excited when I get extra attention and love from my foster family. My mom says that I even smile when I get really excited.
I'm a playful and oh-so-silly boy. I LOVE to try and "catch" the broom or mop when mom is cleaning the floors. She says it made cleaning floors a little challenging at first, but once she found a way to make it into a game for me and get it done, it's really funny to watch me [try to] play "catch".
I'm an independent boy and when I get sleepy (even if it's not bedtime), I will find a cozy spot to curl up in and go right to sleep. I sleep VERY hard. If I find a good hiding spot to take a nap, you may have to come find me. Mom says that I sleep so hard that sometimes I don't wake up to my name being called if they're looking for me. Although I will sleep in crates like my siblings, I always go straight into the carrier at bedtime.
I'm a very good boy. I listen and I follow instruction well. Mom says that I'm the most cooperative when we're taking pictures and as you can see in mine, I'm extremely photogenic.
I live with a lot of people and I love both adults and children of all ages. We have cats, but I haven't met them yet. They aren't fond of dogs. I am crate trained and we are working hard on house training.
Will you take me home to be part of your family?

Camo is part of our Ambassador's Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Pawmetto Lifeline wants every animal to have a chance to find a loving home. If an animal is abandoned or needs to be re-homed, we can assist people by providing medical care, marketing and training if the individual fosters the animal.

Please contact us at adoption@pawmettolifeline.org if you would like to meet an Ambassador Animal.
