Elvis is a goofy, fun loving boy! Needs training - Puppy like and adventurous!

Elvis was from an animal control facility. He was a stray who was never claimed. Staff got him all cleaned up, checked out, and now he is on his journey to finding a new loving forever home! Elvis lives up to his name, he is a charmer and people instantly fall for him! He is very puppy like and his age is estimated at just over a year. Due to his high energy level and lack of leash training at this time he NEEDS a fully fenced yard. He does need training on basic commands and manners. He loves being around people and playing ball! He gets along with other dogs, would be good with kids 8 and up. He is very bouncy and playful! He has not been around cats. He is learning and enjoys it!

If you are interested in an animal you’ve seen on our website, you can call 519-833-2287 or send an email to learn more about them. You can also stop by the shelter to meet the animal in person. It may take a few visits to find the animal that is a perfect match for you.

You can stop by the shelter Monday through Sunday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.

You may wish to call the shelter before visiting to confirm the location and availability of the animal you would like to meet. The UCHS staff can let you know if the animal is currently at the shelter or at one of our remote locations, such as a foster home, local pet supply store or our Thrift Shop.
