Introducing Baxter, our delightful 6-year-old senior pup who's patiently waiting for his forever home! Baxter is a charmer with a heart full of love and a gentle temperament that's sure to win you over. While he may be a bit shy at first, Baxter will warm up and reveal his affectionate nature.

This sweet boy enjoys the simple pleasures in life, whether it's lounging in the sunshine, taking leisurely strolls through the neighborhood, or curling up for a cozy nap indoors. Baxter does appreciate having some privacy and a quiet space to retreat to when he needs a moment to himself. Baxter will need a home with a fenced yard.

With his endearing personality and loving demeanor, Baxter would make a wonderful addition to any family looking for a loyal and devoted companion. He's neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and microchipped.

The first step in our adoption process is submitting an application through our website. Simply visit: https://www.hoovesandpaws.org/shelterluv.html, click on the pet’s photo to view their full bio, then click “Apply for Adoption” to get started.

Please give us a few days to review your application. If approved, you’ll receive an email from adoptions@hoovesandpaws.org to schedule a meet and greet (including any necessary dog-to-dog introductions).

If the meet and greet goes well and you’d like to move forward, we’ll schedule a home check—this means we’ll bring your new furry friend to your home ourselves. This helps ensure a smooth transition and gives your new pup a familiar face upon arrival. We’ll finalize the adoption at that time!
