My name is Olivia!

This very attractive youngster is Olivia, brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 4/18 as a stray. She weighs 34 pounds and is approx 1 year old. My Dog Scanner app suggests the following in her breed mix: American Pit Bull Terrier and Brazilian Terrier. Her stunning eyes and beautiful tri-colored coat make her a stand-out. She appears to have been well cared for but has possibly lived outdoors because she has what appears to be fly bites on her ears. She has a low-moderate activity level and is well-mannered. Olivia walks well on the leash though at this time does so with a bit of caution. She is amiable, affectionate and will try to climb on your lap. She seems to want to stay close and seeks out attention. She wasn't interested in treats, toys or balls. She does not seem to know any commands. She needs to have her confidence built up and figure out that she can trust the staff and volunteers and that they will do their best to find her a new home with people who will cherish her and include her in the family circle.
