Cami's history begins when she was taken in by the renter of the property next door to where she and her sister, Kiki, were found. As far as they can tell, she used to live in that home and was left there when they moved away. Cami lived with her compassionate finder for several months until it was decided that she needed to find a real home of her own!
We have been told that Cami does GREAT with kids. She shared space with a dog for several months and tolerated its presence but mostly wanted nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, she is declawed in the front. It is estimated that this calico beauty is between 4-6 years old.
Cami has had a difficult time transitioning to shelter life. She seems upset by the presence of the other cats; however we know she has spent time with them outside of the kennel environment. Despite being visibly discomfited, she is unquestionably a loving cat who responds well to gentle coaxing and time spent sitting with her.
This sweet girl does need to lose a few pounds, but she remains fairly mobile for her size.
Relieve Cami's woes and be the final chapter of her tumultuous journey by giving her that chance to show who she is and find her forever home in you.

If you are interested in one of our adoptable pets you can come by the Adoption Center and fill out an application, download one from our website, or submit a request to receive one by email. Once your application has been reviewed and approved we will have you and your potential new pet meet and greet. If you would like to adopt a dog we also ask that you bring along your current dogs to meet with them also!
If there are no reservations on either party, the adoption contract will be signed and you will get to take your new family member home.
Email adopt.ffaa@gmail.com for current adoption fees.
All animals are spayed or neutered before adoption, have age appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
