My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Where are the German Shepard fans? Prince and his sister Sasha are a bonded pair of shepherds who came to us after their owner was no longer able to care for them. Prince is a bit unsure being in the shelter. He has been a little shy when getting to know the staff, once he got comfortable with us he relaxed and is doing well. He keeps his kennel clean overnight and appears to know some basic obedience. He has been around other small dogs and kids. He has never been around cats. Prince and Sasha have lived together their entire lives, and they will be adopted into a home together. Apply for Prince at ghhs.org

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
