Pierre Moon is a sweet boy who is affectionate, but not quite a lap cat. He asks for love and when he’s had enough he finds a spot to lounge nearby. He enjoys head scratches and chirps with excitement when he sees you. He’s very good at playing. His favorite toys seem to be the kind with the wand and a string/toy attached. Pierre loves to chase the toy, pounce, and give it some serious bunny kicks!
Pierre will likely be good with other cats if properly introduced and given the time to warm up to them. We are currently working on introducing him to our two cats.
Pierre’s background is a mystery. He was trapped for TNR but turns out he was already neutered and chipped (unregistered). He was much too friendly to put back on the street so now he is looking for his forever home!
Pierre has a cataract in his right eye but the vet says his eye is healthy, he can see fine, and it is not an issue unless changes occur. Once he has a few more weeks of regular meals, he will likely weigh in at around 12-13 lbs.
Pierre Moon is around 6 years old and he is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. He is affectionate, friendly, and playful!

* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
