I'm a terrific, two-year-old labradoodle mix who weighs around 50 pounds and is eager to begin my life with you!
Kennel life was not for me, so I was thrilled when my fabulous foster mom stepped up and welcomed me into her home. I'm loving life with my foster parents and great Dane fur brother, but know my true family is just around the bend.
I'm happy to report I'm both house-trained and crate-trained! While my foster parents are at work, I hang out quietly in my crate while I await their return. I like to spend my time with my fur brother and we have the best time playing together! A pup that always is up for a good time, I happily bounce from toy to toy, appreciative of all that I have.
Treat time? Yes, please! I like all sorts of treats which will be a great tool in helping to train me. I'm always eager to please and would benefit from training to help me be the best boy I can be! A yard for me to enjoy is a must! I'm pretty good on a leash and walk well with my harness, sniffing till my heart is content. Daily exercise is key to keeping me happy and engaged.
Thinking of a road trip? Count me in! I travel very well in the car and am eager to see where the road takes us. At the end of the day, I like to unwind with my family, soaking up all the back scratches I can. My foster family gives us brain games which helps keep me mentally stimulated. How cool is that! At night, I sleep quietly in my crate, thankful for the chance I've been given.
Based on their evaluation, my GLDR family thinks I'd do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. If you have a family fur baby you'd like me to meet, just let me know and I'll be there!
If you think I could be the pup for you, please head to greatlakesdogrescue.com to submit and application today! My friends at GLDR will be in touch!
