Meatball is one of the best girls out there. She is one of the most kid- and people-oriented dogs I've met in 20 years of pet rescue. Meatball loves attention almost as much as she loves treats. She is eager to cuddle and happily sits for hours with the 3 year old girl in her foster home. Meatball is crate trained and loads up great when it's time for bed, but she wouldn't complain if her new home gave her a little more freedom. She is crate trained and doing pretty well on her housebreaking with frequent trips outside, but she still needs a little work with signaling if she needs to go potty when she's inside.
Meatball has the normal bulldog things - can get overheated so her new home should use caution during the hot Florida summers and she also has gets super itchy if a flea gets on her...or with certain seasonal allergies (her skin folds on her face, neck, armpits needs to be wiped regularly as they can get yeasty due to the humidity).

We are setting up adoptions with approved adopters on an appointment basis. We are no longer hosting adoption events at PetSmart until further notice. We are not arranging meet and greets; but appointments to finalize adoptions to limit exposure for all. Our adoptions come with a one week trial period in which if things are not working out, we will refund your adoption fee if you decide to return your newly adopted Faithful Friend. Our adoptions must be done in person at PetSmart (3736 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville, FL 32608) and we do not arrange transport to adopters. Our adoption fees vary and we are only able to accept payments by card at this time but include spay/neuter, heartworm test (dogs), FeLV/FIV test (cats), age appropriate vaccines and deworming, flea, tick and heartworm medication and microchip.
