Hi there! I'm Pippa, a joyful and energetic four-year-old spayed female, a delightful mix of Blue Tick Coonhound and Cattle Dog. I'm all about fun and love, and I'm on the lookout for a family to share my zest for life with. I have lots of energy and enthusiasm, so a house with a fenced backyard would be ideal for me to romp and play freely. I adore being around people and am always up for a good play session-whether that's fetching a ball or just frolicking around. I promise to bring smiles and laughter to our home. I'm very sociable with other dogs and have made lots of friends so far. I also love to give and receive hugs; they're my favorite kind of exchange. Speaking of love, wait till you see my smile-it's contagious and guaranteed to brighten your day! While I came to the shelter with my sister Kate, we do not need to be adopted together. We are each ready to find our forever homes, whether that's together or separately. If you're looking for a spirited and affectionate companion who's always ready for the next adventure or a cuddle, I'm your girl. Let's start making wonderful memories together!

More about this shelter
The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
