Norris is an energetic and loving cat! Norris would be great in a house with multiple family members or children that could give him lots of attention. He loves playing with toys, especially his wand toy, and he's very investigative.

Norris is affectionate, and he loves pets, hair brushing, and hanging out with you. A clever kitty, Norris may have even cracked the code for getting pets while you're asleep, playing with your fingers and toes when you drift off! He is a chatty cat, and meows plenty, but his purrs are very quiet. His foster says "you'll have to listen closely to hear them.

We have worked hard to make our adoption process as easy as possible. We like to think of the process in four steps: application, phone conversation, meet and greet and adoption day. We will get back to applicants within a few days even if they were not chosen.

More about this rescue

Paws and Claws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Chicagoland area dedicated to preventing, and alleviating the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation. We help dogs and cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.

Our focus is on rescuing orphaned neonatal kittens, nursing kittens with their feral mothers, under-socialized cats, and dogs who have been at Chicago Animal Care and Control for too long. We see ourselves as the crossing guards for these vulnerable animals, helping them get from their past, whether that be from a traumatic home, a kennel, or a euthanasia list, to a safe and kind human who will love them.
