In the market for a chia pet AND a very good dog? Look no further than Muttville, where Excel awaits, steeped in cuteness. He is, for the moment, lacking hair, but all signs point to an eventual tri-color outfit suitable for play dates, weddings and presidential debates. He is a plucky chi who gets along with creatures great and small, especially people willing to give scritches and receive hugs. You're going to fall hard for his little noggin wrinkles, too. Adopt him, love him, and send us pictures of the sweet fur reveal.

More about this rescue
Muttville is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. On a local level, Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them foster homes or gives them hospice. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do.
Through associations with shelters and other animal organizations, Muttville finds senior dogs that have been given up and are not likely to find adopted homes. Through outreach and networking, Muttville finds suitable foster homes for these dogs. Ultimately, Muttville will have its own facility to house dogs that are not yet placed, or that are unlikely to be placed.
