My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Azalea, a gentle-hearted female with a name as beautiful as her spirit. This sweet soul thrives on love and affection, showering it upon those she trusts. While she may be a bit reserved in bustling surroundings, within the comfort of home, Azalea blossoms into a playful and intelligent companion.

With the grace of a flower in bloom, Azalea longs for a home where she can share her days with another furry friend. Picture her delight as she races through a fenced yard, her speed rivaling that of a greyhound, before settling down to soak up the warmth of the sun.

** Must have a fenced Yard - She truly enjoys being off leash and running around. Dog Park traffic is a bit overwhelming for her so she would do best in her own space.

Azalea is a model of good behavior indoors, is housetrained and loves to be in the company of her humans, quietly nestled nearby. Her delicate nature adds a touch of grace to any household fortunate enough to welcome her into their hearts. If you're seeking a devoted canine companion with a heart of gold, look no further than Azalea.

Azalea is spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations and preventatives. She is very special to us and we hope to find a family who will cherish her as we do. If you are interested in meeting Azalea please complete an application on our website at https://www.secondchancenc.org/adopt-a-pet/dog-adoption-application/.

***Please Note: All the available dogs listed on our website are getting spoiled in private foster homes. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will be send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***
