Timber has flourished in her time with us. She’s an all around great dog with tons of personality certain to be overjoyed every time she sees you. She’s made friends with all of our dogs who love to play with her and she loves having a fenced yard as her playground to explore.
Indoors, Timber has very definite ideas about where her toys as well as other household items belong, in fact she’s quite the home decorator! Food is a great motivator for Timber and she wants to please, however she’s a girl who knows her own mind and some negotiation may be needed! Eventually you’ll see that she was right all along about the home decorating.
She displays great empathy and affection for her people and animal pals which she’s pleased to have rewarded with belly rubs. Yes, definitely more belly rubs please! She loves everyone she meets be it adults, dogs, cats and children of all ages. Timber will need to have another dog in the home.
Timber has been spayed, microchipped, up to date on current vaccinations and preventatives. She is ready to find a family who will shower her with the kind of live she shows others. Her adoption fee is $325. If you are interested in meeting this sweetheart, please complete an adoption application on our website at https://www.secondchancenc.org/adopt-a-pet/dog-adoption-application/.
***Please Note: All the available dogs listed on our website are getting spoiled in private foster homes. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will be send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***
