My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lilibeth was rescued after we received a frantic call about a domestic bunny underneath a car in Winter Park. The rabbit in question was secured and brought to safety, and turned out to be a lovely Dutch rabbit with perfect markings. Lilibeth is now fixed and vaxxed and enjoying the TLC at her foster home.

Lilibeth is a gentle, quiet and very polite bunny, that can get along with everyone, even the resident dog in the house. She has never been aggressive and is not much of a chewer. She is a calm and well-adjusted girl and does not tend to hide inside or under things, only when it is sleepy time and she wants to find that perfect resting spot. She does love to eat, and will even follow you around to get more if she does not feel that enough has been provided. She is a smart bun and might be a good candidate for clicker training. Lilibeth loves to be with her humans and will lay her head down when sitting next to you to request you to pet her head and ears. This regal beauty is seeking a domain where she can reign gently over her devoted human subjects!

We adopt to indoor homes only! If you are interested in adopting a bunny from Orlando Rabbit Care and Adoptions, or would like more information on rabbit care, please visit our website at: http://www.orlandorabbit.org. The first step in our adoption process is to complete an adoption application, which can be found here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/55856/generic . Then one of our volunteers will reach out to you via email to schedule a time to speak with you. If you don’t see the email in a day or two, please check your spam folder!

Our Adoption Fee/Donation for a single rabbit is $100, a pair is $170, and a triple is $200. This helps to offset the cost of having the rabbits altered, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as any medical care that may have been required.

Additional adoption info

For those that want to bond a new rabbit with an existing rabbit, we conduct bonding events where the home rabbit can meet several rabbits to find a potential match. We work with the adopting family to help ensure that the rabbits bond. We take back the adoptive rabbit if there is not a match.

Our adoption agreement specifies that we will take any adopted rabbit back, should the home situation change in the future.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster-based rescue where our available animals are kept in private homes.

You can see our rabbits online, then make an appointment to meet the rabbit(s) you select.

From time-to-time, we conduct adoption events where you can meet multiple rabbits. Because of RHDV2, these events have been paused.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue and educational group dedicated to the health, care and enjoyment of house rabbits. We believe that pet rabbits are family members and should be housed indoors, should be fed a healthy diet, should be spayed or neutered, and should receive quality medical care. Our organization strives to provide bunny parents with information to help them care for their rabbit.
