Say hello to Larry Blueberry! Larry Blueberry is a perpetually happy, 6-year-old hound mix who weighs 55 pounds. He knows how to sit, shake, hug, down, and roll over for treats - and as soon as he realizes you've got a treat, he will try to do those all at once! Larry B. Berry can be grabby with his food and treats, so we recommend caution with small kids while he's eating. Larry previously lived with young children and did well with them. Larry must meet any resident dog(s) in a potential new home, to make sure they get along. Here at the shelter, he seems to enjoy being around the other dogs.
* Larry Blueberry has tested positive for Anaplasmosis (which, like Lyme, is a tick-borne disease) and is currently being treated with antibiotics
* Larry Blueberry qualifies for the shelter's Adult Companion Program, for adopters aged 50 and up.
