UPDATE: - We do have secured a very short term foster - All what we desperately need now is a bit of a longer-term FOSTER or FOSTER TO ADOPT HOME - that would be "butterly" awesome! BUTTERS is so beautiful in life but not very patient as a model - so the pictures truly DO NOT DO him JUSTICE!
Please meet our fellow BUTTERS - even not a giant in size everything else is big in this young heart - thus at the beginning called "Mr. 3G" for - (just) GORGEOUS, (lovingly) GENTLE and (heartfully) GRACIOUS! - but this super adorable young teenager has so much more to offer.......when he knows you he will MELT IN YOUR ARMS LIKE BUTTER ON A WARM TOAST!
We don't know how this lonely heart lost his original home - but we do know that he was "held hostage" by someone that truly did not treat him well, so BUTTERS escaped and was looking for shelter near a building where his caretaker/rescuer spotted him.
Since then, this young fellow decided to stay, to get his daily meals, has a litter box he prestigiously uses and a house he can relax in.
Each time his caretaker is coming, BUTTERS is approaching her with welcoming meows, circling around her legs, accepting head and chin scratches and also let her pick him up - so BUTTERS was truly a former indoor cat before "getting lost" but maintained his affection to humans even after all his ordeals he had to endure.
BUTTERS might be a bit cautious at the beginning observing his environment, but his beautiful amber eyes are surely lighten up at meal time and he displays the cutest meow chirp to say "Hello - I'm here".
It is heartbreaking to see such a softy soul "homeless" every day. He can be also quite vocal when he wants to have attention, getting petted and enjoying a heartful back rub and of course when delicious food is arriving - so we can't wait to see him finally inside to show his full potentials as a super adorable and fun LOVER BOY putting many smiles on his parent's face! And just get ready - when he finally has settled in his potential as a personal assistant will come to shine and will accompany your day in any way.
BUTTERS shows also affection and playfulness to other kitties - we are not surprised at his young age - so would be thrilled to have a furry companion as well.
BUTTERS is sooooo ready to just "move in" with whoever will open his heart for a limited period of time or furever - he and his goodie bag are standing put - patiently waiting for his big day.....- even a bathroom will do it for a while - so BUTTERS can show his true easygoing and friendly soul, and his gentle behavior including head butts and his purrito overture.
BUTTERS is already neutered and will be of course updated with all vaccines, tested, dewormed and deflead and microchipped before entering into his foster / foster to adopt/ or even furever home.
If you are familiar with orange tabbies you know that NOTHING is more affectionate and loyal than a ginger boy that will give his heart to you and will unconditionally love you furever.
PLEASE OPEN YOUR HEART to FOSTER BUTTERS -aka Mr 3G- A GORGEOUS boy that will sweep you off your feet with his GENTLE heart and GRACIOUS character.

If you decide to give one (or) two of them a forever home and would like to adopt, a basic contract will need to be signed to adopt any of our cats.
We also ask for a donation to support our veterinarian expenses and to continue our rescue efforts.
