My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bullet ACCT-A-161423 is a 3 year old neutered male who came to ACCT as an owner surrender on 4/21 due to owners moving. Owner noted that Bullet is very energetic he loves taking walks and playing with sticks he's very laid back but protective. He is good with children (lived with a 10 month old), good with cats and barks at dogs and strangers. They also mentioned that he can be protective of his things. Owner described Bullet's ideal home to be with someone who has plenty of time to spend with him he seeks attention and someone who is capable of talking him for walks. P.S. he doesn't like to go out in the rain.

Per Volunteer 4/25:
Bullet is a large boy in absolutely LOVELY condition. His coat is silky smooth and he is in great shape. Bullet is leash trained and did not pull at all while on our long walk. He is a confident lad who walks tail high and straight ahead. Bullet came to me freely for pets and sat for treats. When we got back to the run a staff member asked for a meet with Carmela. Fence meet went well so we proceeded with a drop leash in the big run. Both dogs were social but Bullet was sexually motivated and kept humping/licking, even when Carmela tried inviting him to play with bows and chase. Bullet listened well when we called for him to get him off of Carmela.

On 4/25 Bullet came down with a upper respiratory infection and was started on doxycycline.

On 4/22 staff noted- Bullet was on the other side of the kennel and ran across to the handler when called. he had mid level wags and was very patient for leashing. No issues exiting or returning. Pulls Moderately On Leash. Loose/Allows all handling. In the room Bullet was very wiggly and social with both handlers. He is high energy and would zoom across to us and seek out pets. He was very affectionate and would lean in for pets and spin in circles. He allowed all over handling and did not display any handing issues with his feet, ears, belly, tail etc. He remained wiggly when meeting new handlers as well and had great manners.Engages in play. Accepts a trade with toys. Owners noted he can be protective of his items. At this time he did not display any guarding and allowed us to do trades, but use caution with high value items!

On 4/21 during the initial intake exam, Bullet was noted to have red hot to touch doesnt like ears touched. Dander on skin but otherwise appeared healthy.
