My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a calm, snuggly companion to spend your days with then look no further- Cremini is the perfect girl for you.

Sweet Cremini loves to be pet and to sit next to you on the days that you just feel like laying around. Her unique meow "scream, as described by her foster mom, will only make you smile and love her tendency to be vocal even more. Although she loves to lounge and take naps, Cremini is always up to play and be silly. Her favorite toys include her Cat Dancer and automatic butterfly toy. Her adorable zoomies will make you laugh at how energetic this affectionate girl can be.

Cremini is ready to find her forever family. She is nothing but sweet, calm, and loving, and will only bring in more light and love to your home.

More about this rescue

Paws and Claws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Chicagoland area dedicated to preventing, and alleviating the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation. We help dogs and cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.

Our focus is on rescuing orphaned neonatal kittens, nursing kittens with their feral mothers, under-socialized cats, and dogs who have been at Chicago Animal Care and Control for too long. We see ourselves as the crossing guards for these vulnerable animals, helping them get from their past, whether that be from a traumatic home, a kennel, or a euthanasia list, to a safe and kind human who will love them.
