Ernie is a VERY well behaved and well trained boy who unfortunately needs to find a new forever home. He came to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue after Hurricane Ian in pretty bad shape, and was adopted into a loving home. Unfortunately he can no longer stay there and they are heartbroken but there's not another option. Ernie is currently staying with them while we try to find a new home for him.
Here is what they say about Ernie: "Ernie is the ultimate cuddle companion with a heart of gold and a wagging tail that never quits. He is a love bug through and through. Despite his ruff past and although he may not have hit it off with our other male dog, Ernie's affection for humans, big and small, knows no bounds. Ernie is a pro at basic commands and is house trained to perfection. He is up to date on all of his vaccines, neutered and is up to date with preventatives."
Ernie is probably a Boxer/American Bulldog mix and gets along well with the female dog in the home. He's also very good with children. Ernie would do best with a fenced year where he can run, play and stretch his legs! We guess Ernie is about 2 and a half years old and is 55 lbs of snuggle bug!
Ernie's $150 fee is being reduced to $50 and includes up to date shots and preventatives, neuter and all of the care that he received to prepare him to be your obedient best friend!
