Willow is the very most sweetest girl, super smart and eager to please, and she loves, loves, loves her humans and doggy friends. Her favorite thing to do is to sit back into your legs and gaze back at you with eyes of love.
She has excellent recall and loves going on off-leash hikes with her foster family.
She also has been crate trained and will settled down fairly quickly without issue.
Willow’s foster family has been working on her on-leash walking and she has been making rapid progress. They are also getting her out and about into new environments. She can get a little anxious in new surroundings but she is getting better and better with increased exposure to new situations.
Willow is about 3 years old and is a petite 65lbs.
Like most GSDs, Willow will do best with a home where she can get plenty of exercise and consistent training. She would love to have a doggy sibling to play with-she gains a lot of security from having a buddy.
Willow has been to wine tastings with her humans and did great. She’s currently staying with a resident brother GSD and a Labrador. She often makes eye contact with her foster, checking in often and she knows some obedience skills. Through some unfortunate circumstances in her life, she has been bounced around a bit but has been a trooper.
This is a courtesy post and Willow will be waiting in Livermore.
You like this dog...now what?
Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic
Our adoption team will spring into action to help you adopt this dog. If you have already completed the application and are approved, please phone or text your adoption counselor and we will set up a meeting. Not sure, foster first and adopt later!
BAGSR is always in need of fosters. There is an overwhelming number of dogs who need our help and the more fosters we have, the more dogs we can save. BAGSR covers expenses, including food. Fosters provide the love and a soft place to crash.
