Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there, my name is Rita! I'm a sweet beagle girl who's looking for her furever home. I spent the majority of my life in an animal testing laboratory where I was subjected to painful experiments... did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs and cats, too? Since being rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I've been blossoming into the happy girl that I was always meant to be. Despite my past mistreatment, I crave affection and throw my paws in the air when I want attention! It's my special way of saying "Hey, don't forget about me!" I hope that a loving, forever home welcomes me soon... I'm dreaming of a kind adopter who will give me all of the snuggles in the world. I am such a special and deserving girl! I promise to be the most loving and loyal companion for my adopter-- could that be you?
My ideal home: A single-animal househould.
My location: NEWPORT, NC
*Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!*
*Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter is able to travel to the animal's current location for pickup.*
If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/
Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org.
