Who doesn’t love a lab puppy with sweet eyes? I'm Belle, and boy are you going to love ME!
I’m looking for my forever home and I HOPE it can be in Wisconsin! I hear it’s so much nicer there than in this crowded, loud, scary shelter in Georgia. I need a FOSTER or an ADOPTER to make it to Wisconsin on 4/27, can you help me?
I’d sure love to be enjoying the summer with you on the lake instead of the hot concrete cage here in the south. (I also heard your lakes are REALLY GREAT up there!)

FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping.
For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics.
To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.

As a foster-based rescue organization, we do not have a central boarding facility for our animals. If you are interested in meeting one of our available animals, we highly encourage you to submit an adoption application. Once approved, you will be able to meet our animals.

Our mission is clear: to prevent animal cruelty and neglect through foster-based rescue and rehoming initiatives. We strive to support both animals and their owners by fostering a sense of community and promoting responsible pet ownership.
Together, we lend our hand in the name of rescue, ensuring every animal receives the love, care, and support they deserve.
