My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aurora is a shy girl with a big voice. She loves to be held and is looking for her forever home. She is working on sit and potty training, like a typical puppy. She was born on 1/1/2024 and currently has had two sets of vaccines. She is microchipped but is not spayed yet due to her age. She will be spayed when age appropriate, and the fee for this is included in her adoption fee. Don't miss out on this beautiful girl! If you are interested in Aurora, please complete an adoption application at lastdaydogs.comMay 15, 2024, 12:37 pm

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All dogs are fully vetted, have age appropriate core vaccinations, and have been spayed/neutered and microchiped. 100% of the adoption fees go back to helping us rescue more dogs.

Our adoption process consists of an application, phone or face to face interview, home visit and reference checks. If you are approved to adopt from Tails of the Unwanted, you will be required to sign an adoption contract.

Go meet their pets

Our dogs are placed in foster homes around North Carolina and currently in the Concord, Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point and Salisbury areas. We want our dogs to be placed in a loving and caring home and will arrange meet and greets with approved adopters.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue that networks and promote shelter dogs at risk of being euthanized at high kill shelters. If no one comes to their rescue, we step in. We are always looking for fosters and donations as well as volunteers so that we can continue to save the dogs who have run out of time at the high kill shelters.
