My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Everest! He is a 2 yr old male Siberian Husky that weighs 77 lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 4/22 as a stray. He is a big fluffy boy that appears to have had his own loving family at one time, lived inside and may be housetrained. He enjoys having his face and ears rubbed and will give you such a big smile, and lets not forget he gives kisses too. Everest has a calm gentle loving personality that wants to be close and cuddly and will lay at your feet just to enjoy your company. He walks ok on a leash tho he does pull a bit at times. Walking past other dogs barking at him, he didn't show any interest. Be sure if you have another dog in the home to ask the shelter for a dog test. He would need to have a tall secured fence in the backyard so he can run and play in, but come back inside resting on his own dog bed. If you are familiar with the breed's needs and personality, then Everest would like to meet you!
