Ember was found crying on a porch in Middletown. She was bleeding and in pain. A nice person brought her inside from the cold and posted for help on FaceBook. Loving Care Foster saw the post and went to pick her up to get her care.
Ember was taken to Hershey Emergency Vet and was diagnosed with Pyrometria. This is a severe bacterial infection that occurs when a female cats uterus becomes unhealthy. She required an emergency Spay surgery, IV antibiotics, and fluids.
Ember was a wonderful patient and has completely recovered from her surgery. Now that she is healthy she is ready to be a spoiled little princess and has no desire to return outside.
Ember was approximated to be around 1 yr old She is very sweet and loves attention. She is learning to enjoy the luxuries of indoor living of cat trees, window perches, and toys. She loves her treats too. When she greets you she rises on her hind legs and spins around and meows. She is a little ballerina. She is a bit shy at first but once she knows you she is always near by. She isn't velcro so she is a great kitty for most.
Ember is currently living at a foster home in Palmyra with 3 dogs and other kitties. She gets along well with other kitties and will tolerate respectful dogs.
Embers adoption donation is 115.00 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter/spay.
