In early March we welcomed our newest deaf dog, Whisper. Whisper came to us from Romulus Animal Shelter, where she stayed after being picked up as a stray. She is about 4 months old, incredibly sweet, smart and oh so sassy! She has mastered her hand signals for "sit and "come. Working with and training deaf dogs is so rewarding! Whisper is searching for a loving home with someone who will cherish her, become her new best friend, and teach her new things while keeping her safe. Whisper's foster has worked with many deaf dogs and can help you to learn how to train her.

Additional adoption info
We do not use a first-come, first-serve process when adopting out our animals. Instead, we focus on best fit for each individual animal. The process is intended to ensure a long-term successful adoption for both the family and pet.
All of our adoptable animals have had a complete veterinarian checkup. Our cats and kittens are FeLV/FIV tested. Our dogs and puppies are heartworm tested. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, and have received age appropriate vaccines before going to their forever homes.
Feline adoption fees - $125 for kittens under 8 months, $100 if over 8 months, and $60 if over 9 years old.
Canine adoption fees - $350 for puppies under 1 year, $300 if over 1 year, and $200 if over 7 years old.
