This sweet little girl was hit by a car and had two orthopedic surgeries, one to fix her fractured leg and then an Fho on the other, she did great and healed very quickly, she loves being with her doggie buddies and hangs out in a dog bed with them, she is pretty well house trained and will run out to the yard with everyone to go to the bathroom, she loves squeaky toys, she will need some leash and harness training, but is very smart and will learn quickly, she would do well as an only dog or with buddies for company, she has a very sweet personality and is going to make a great companion for someone

OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only.

The total adoption fee of $400 ( and includes , the interstate health cert and transport to the north east ,spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at

We require all adopters to fill out an initial application so that we can check references. We try to match our dogs with a family that fits the needs and individuality of our homeless pets. We work tirelessly to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We do this through email, phone, and any other means of communication to ensure a good fit.
